KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — The Kensington Wild will return to the friendly confines of Credit Union Centre on Saturday.
The Wild will host provincial rival Charlottetown Knights in a New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Major Midget Hockey League game that is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. This will be the Knights’ final regular-season visit to Kensington.
It will mark the second game in as many days for both teams. The Wild travelled to Port Hood, N.S., to take on the Cape Breton West Islanders in an interlocking game with the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League on Friday evening while the Knights hosted the Northern Moose from Bathurst, N.B., at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre.
Entering Friday’s play, the Wild sat 17-8-3 (won-lost-overtime losses) and the Knights were 8-16-4.
