KINKORA, P.E.I. — It is a busy year for Hannah Rogers at Kinkora Regional High School (KRHS).
The 16-year-old daughter of Aaron and Heather Rogers of Kinkora has been selected as the Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month for her contributions on the soccer pitch during the fall season.
The Grade 11 student played centre defence with KISHORA – a combined team of Kensington Intermediate-Senior High School (KISH) and KRHS. She was a key contributor in the team earning the P.E.I. School Athletic Association Senior A Girls Soccer League silver medal in 2019 and the bronze medal in 2018.
“Hannah Rogers has been one of the backbones of the senior girls’ soccer team for the past two years,” said KISHORA head coach Donald Mulligan. “Hannah is a positive leader who leads by example.
“She works and competes hard both at practice and during the games.”
