Five different players scored for the North River Flames in a 5-1 victory over the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch on Saturday night.
Connor Andrews, Alex Young, Alex McCarron, Chandler LaPorte and Ethan Handregan found the back of the net for the host Flames in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game.
Keegan Wagner countered for the Slemon Park-based Crunch.
After a scoreless first period, North River took a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
Ryan Clory earned the goaltending win as the Flames upped their record to 12-5-0 (won-lost-overtime losses). Devon Newberry was between the pipes for Summerside (3-13-0).
