CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Cornwall defenceman Jordan Spence had the overtime winner Sunday night as the Val-d’Or Foreurs defeated the Gatineau Olympiques 3-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Spence, who turns 20 on Feb. 24, also had a pair of assists as he was in on all three of Val-d’Or’s goals. It was the Los Angeles Kings prospect’s second game with his new team after being acquired in January from the Moncton Wildcats.

The league’s reigning defenceman of the year has 19 points, including 13 assists, in 15 games this season.
