Charlotte Linkletter enjoying busy year at Kinkora Regional High School

KINKORA, P.E.I. — It is a busy senior year at Kinkora Regional High School for Charlotte Linkletter.

The 17-year-old daughter of Wayne and Kathy Linkletter of Central Bedeque is wearing the Blazers’ blue and gold colours in three different P.E.I. School Athletic Association (PEISAA) sports and has been selected the school’s Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month.
Charlotte played the middle position and was a team captain on the Blazers’ PEISAA Senior A Girls Volleyball League champions. She also competed in golf, will play the outfield in softball this spring and plays spring volleyball.
“Charlotte is a well-rounded player who was a real difference-maker when she was aggressively attacking and serving,” said Blazers head coach Evan Killorn. “She was the heart of the team by her competitive nature and her ability to motivate and communicate with all the players.
“Charlotte had a positive attitude and loves to hustle for every ball.”
Outside of school, Charlotte is a centre with the Mid-Isle Wildcats of the P.E.I. Midget AAA Female Hockey League.
Charlotte is also very active in school life. She handles communications on the grad executive and is a member of the agriculture diploma program.
Following graduation from high school, Charlotte plans study kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
