CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Ross Campbell had two goals and five assists Saturday afternoon as the Eastern Express blasted the Central Attack 13-2 in P.E.I. Major Under-15 AAA Hockey League action.
Mason Power had four goals and an assist while Evan Nicholson (3, 1) and Dawson Sharkey (1,3) each had four-point afternoons. Kayden McGuigan, Austin Walker and Alexander Keus rounded out the scoring.
Aiden Wilson had three helpers, while Ryan Dwyer, Justin Smith and McGuigan each chipped in a pair and singles were credited to Hudson Bradley, Logan Gregory, Drew MacDonald, Matthew MacLean, Owen MacPherson and Walker.
Wil White and Aidan Silvaggio scored for the host Attack. Thatcher Hughes had two assists while singles went to Benjamin Matte.
Hudson Bradley made 12 saves for the win while Noah Carver stopped 35 shots in the los.
Eastern, which held 5-1 and 11-1 period leads, went 3-for-9 on the power play and killed all 12 of Central’s chances with the man advantage.
The Express (23-0-1) leads the four-team league while the Attack (2-19-2) is in the basement.
