CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Ross Campbell had two goals and three assists Saturday as the Eastern Express blanked the Central Attack 8-0 in P.E.I. Major Under-15 AAA Hockey League action at MacLauchlan Arena.
Mason Power scored three times while Evan Nicholson had four helpers as the league-leading Express improved to 13-0-1.
Kayden McGuigan and Dawson Sharkey each had a goal and an assist while Aiden Wilson rounded out the scoring. Alexander Keus, Carson MacKenzie, Matthew MacLean, Nolan McQuillan and Austin Walker each contributed an assist.
Hudson Bradley stopped 10 shots for the shutout while Ethan Clark was peppered with 49 shots in the loss.
The Express, which held 2-0 and 5-0 period leads, went 3-for-5 on the power play and killed all five of the Attack’s chances with the man advantage.
Central (2-11-0) travels to Crapaud Sunday for a 4:40 p.m. game with the third-place Mid-Isle Matrix (3-12-0).
