ABRAM-VILLAGE, P.E.I. — Isaac Callaghan scored two goals and added two assists to lead the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings to a 5-1 win over the Kent Koyotes on Friday night.

The Tignish Credit Union Arena was the site of the interlocking game between the Island Junior Hockey League (IJHL) and New Brunswick Junior Hockey League (NBJHL).
The Red Wings, who jumped out to period leads of 2-0 and 4-1, also received goals from Chandler Wood (2-1) and Connor Morrissey. Alex Hutchinson added two assists.
Yanick Jacob netted the Koyotes’ lone goal.
Winning goaltender Luke Oliver stopped 24 of 25 shots while the Koyotes’ Samuel Gendron turned aside 25 of 30 shots.
The Red Wings are back in action at the Evangeline Recreation Centre on Sunday against the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros. Western will take a league-leading 18-2-2 (won-lost-overtime losses) record into the 2:15 p.m. start against the Metal Metros (11-11-2).
The last time the Red Wings and Metros met both teams were assessed seven fighting majors and combined for close to 300 minutes in penalties.
