POWNAL, P.E.I. — Edmund Perry’s goal with 6:35 remaining in the third period lifted the Prince County Warriors to a 5-4 road victory over the Eastern Express on Thursday night.
The Pownal Sports Centre was the site of the P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League contest.
Colby Hudson scored with 12:25 remaining tied the game for the Warriors.
Carson Griffin, Clark Allain and Ethan Dickson also scored for the O’Leary-based Warriors, who improved to 4-8-1 (won-lost-tied).
James Wood (1-1), Caleb MacDonald (1-1), Cameron Walsh and Harry Clements replied for the Express (10-3-0).
Eastern held period leads of 2-1 and 4-3 before the Warriors rallied for two unanswered third-period goals.
George Gallant registered the goaltending win.
