CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Rafael Harvey-Pinard and Alex Beaucage each had two goals Saturday to lead the host Rouyn-Noranda Huskies to an 8-1 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders.

Justin Bergeron, Felix Bibeau, Samuel Naud and Tyler Hinam also scored in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League win. Samuel Regis, Patrik Hrehorcak, Bibeau, Peter Abbandonato each had two assists while singles went to Alexis Arsenault, Louis-Filip Cote, Harvey-Pinard, Naud and Joel Teasdale.

Daniel Hardie from Kevin Gursoy and Xavier Bernard scored for the Islanders.

Samuel Harvey stopped 24 shots for the victory while Matthew Welsh allowed eight goals on 43 shots.

Rouyn-Noranda held 1-0 and 4-0 period leads. The Isles went 1-for-6 on the power play while killing all three of the Huskies chances with the man advantage.

The Huskies improved to a league-leading 37-7-0-1 while the Isles drop to 26-13-2-2. The Islanders complete their three-game road trip Sunday against Val-d’Or at 5 p.m. Atlantic.
