KENSINGTON – Scoring has not been an issue for the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild through the team’s first 11 regular-season games.

The Wild erupted offensively on Saturday night in an 11-4 road victory over the Northern Moose to improve to 8-2-1 (won-lost-overtime losses). Kensington leads the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League in scoring with 72 goals.
The win opened a stretch of four straight road games for the Wild, who will visit the Fredericton Caps (3-6-2) on Sunday afternoon.
At the K.C. Irving Regional Centre, Bennett MacArthur scored a hat trick while Colby MacArthur and Ryan Richards each had a goal and three assists to pace the Wild. Keiran Gallant (2-1), Zac Arsenault (2-1), William Proud and Lucas Parsons also lit the lamp. Zach Biggar (2), Kalib Snow (2), Dixon MacLeod (2), Jack Campbell (2), Isaac Wilson, Ethan Beaulieu and Duncan Picketts chipped in with assists.
Cole Augustine (2), Jake Parker and Alex Trembley replied for the Moose (1-12-0).
The Wild built period leads of 4-1 and 7-3.
Josh Smith made 21 saves in earning the goaltending win.
