KENSINGTON, P.E.I. – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild returns to home ice Saturday.
The Wild will entertain the Northern Moose from Bathurst, N.B., in a New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League game at Credit Union Centre in Kensington. The opening faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
It will mark the second of back-to-back games for the Wild, who provided the opposition for the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Pride’s home opener at the Bell Aliant Centre on the UPEI campus Friday night.
This will mark the Moose’s second visit to Kensington after the Wild posted a 7-2 win in their home opener on Sept. 22.
Kensington took a 2-1-1 (won-lost-overtime losses) record into Friday’s game while the Moose is off to a slow start at 1-7-0.
Wild captain Ryan Richards returned to the lineup in Sunday’s 9-1 road win over the Fredericton Capitals after sitting out a four-game suspension.
