SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals’ pursuit of the 2019 Canadian Tire Cup resumes Saturday.

The Capitals will host the Campbellton Tigers in Game 1 of the best-of-seven Eastlink North Division final series at Eastlink Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.
Game 2 is set for the Campbellton Memorial Civic Centre on Tuesday, and after that the teams will alternate home games every second day. Should the series go the distance, Game 7 is scheduled for Eastlink Arena on Friday, April 12.

The Capitals, who finished first overall in the 12-team MHL’s regular season at 40-8-2 (won-lost-overtime losses), swept the St. Stephen Aces (20-27-3) in the opening round. The Tigers (31-13-6), who were second in the Eastlink North Division, ousted the Edmundston Blizzard (26-17-7) in a five-game series in Round 1.
