The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers spotted the host Eastern Maniacs period leads of 2-0 and 3-2 before roaring back with four unanswered goals in the final period Friday at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex to go into the Island Junior Hockey League’s Christmas break with a 6-3 victory.

Connor Gallant lead the Vipers with two goals while CJ McCardle, Parker Ronahan and Easton Smith each had a goal and an assist. Kyle Pinksen had their other goal.

Garrett Murray (2), Logan Vandervelden (2), Riley Gallant, Jacob Stewart, Josh Stewart and Nick Bouchey added assists and Cameron Visser had the goaltending win.

Scoring for the Manias were Alex Gallant, Tyler Rose and Blake Jamieson. Assists went to Max Morrison, Nathan Cahill, Eddie Jenkins, Jonathan Arsenault and Spencer Compton.

The Vipers were assessed three of the game’s five minor penalties.
