SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers’ rookie goaltender Caleb Coyle recorded his Island Junior Hockey League-leading third shutout of the 2018-19 regular season Saturday night

Coyle stopped 30 shots in the Vipers’ 4-0 win over the host Eastern Maniacs at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris.
Offensively, Jonathan Arsenault scored twice, Blake Gallant had a goal and an assist and CJ McCardle contributed a pair of helpers to lead the Vipers. Logan Vandervelden netted the other goal for Kensington, which will take a 24-9-0 (won-lost-overtime losses) record into Sunday’s home game against the first-place Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings (27-4-2) at 7 p.m.
The Vipers built period leads of 2-0 and 4-0.
Cam Duffy faced 30 shots in goal for the Maniacs (5-26-0).
