SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals’ home game on Thursday night was postponed due to poor road conditions in New Brunswick.
The Capitals, who are 28-5-1 (won-lost-overtime losses), were scheduled to host the Grand Falls Rapids (9-18-5).
The MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) game will now be played at Eastlink Arena on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m.
The Capitals’ next scheduled game is Wednesday, Jan. 30, when the Pictou County Crushers (14-13-6) visit Eastlink Arena for a 7 p.m. start.
All tickets purchased for Thursday’s game will be honoured on Feb. 5.
