Mitchell Phillips had a goal and an assist to lead the Tyne Valley Tornadoes to a 4-1 victory over the Wellington Flyers on Friday night.

The West Prince Senior Hockey League game attracted a packed house to the Tyne Valley Community Sports Centre.
Evan Shea, Kendall Grigg and TJ Campbell contributed single goals for the Tornadoes, who improved to 5-2-0 (won-lost-overtime losses). Brad Bryan and Evan Ballum added single helpers.
Jamie Caissie, assisted by Nick Arsenault and Todd MacDougall, netted the lone goal for the Flyers (3-4-1).
Tyne Valley held period cushions of 1-0 and 2-0.
Jack Hackett earned the goaltending win over Neil Arsenault.
Winner David Arsenault and the Tornadoes each donated their $1,307 shares of the 50/50 draw for a total of 2,614 to fan Madison Barlow, who is battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
