Summerside’s Noah Dobson continues to excel in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Dobson was named Tuesday to the QMJHL Team of the Week for the period of Jan. 14-20.
The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies defenceman registered three assists and a plus-8 in three games.
Joining him on defence is teammate Justin Bergeron who had three goals and two assists in three games, and was a plus-5.
The top forwards are Rimouski’s Alexis Lafreniere who had five goals and two assists and a plus-9 in four games, Drummondville’s Joseph Veleno who had five goals and three assists and plus-8 in three games and Rouyn-Noranda’s Rafael Harvey-Pinard who had four goals, three assists and was a plus-5 in three games.
The goaltending pick is Drummondville’s Olivier Rodrigue who picked up two wins and no losses. He also registered a 1.00 goals against average and a .963 save percentage.
