Six Prince County players on Islanders’ training camp roster

Including two Western Capitals

CHARLOTTETOWN – Six players from Prince County are listed on the Charlottetown Islanders’ training camp roster released on Friday.

Those players are forwards Evan Gallant of Abram-Village, Nick Reeves of Summerside, Cameron Roberts of Kensington, Zach Thususka of Summerside; defenceman Jack DesRoches of Days Corner, and goaltender Chad Arsenault of Wellington.
Roberts and Thususka were members of the Summerside Western Capitals of the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) last. Gallant (Kensington Wild), Arsenault (Wild) and Reeves (Charlottetown Pride) played in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League.
Defenceman Zac Arsenault (Wild) of Montague, along with forwards Keiran Gallant (Stanstead College) of Covehead and Thomas Casey (Islanders) of Charlottetown, are the other players from P.E.I. listed on the roster.
Training camp opens at the APM Centre in Cornwall on Friday, Aug 17.
