O'LEARY, P.E.I. — The O’Leary Maroons’ combination of Nick Reilly and Mike MacIsaac proved to be too much for the Alberton Regals.

Reilly scored four goals and MacIsaac assisted on each of them to lead the Maroons to a 5-1 win in Game 1 of the best-of-five West Prince Senior Hockey League championship series at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre on Saturday night.
Game 2 is scheduled for the Jacques Cartier Arena in Alberton on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.
Darcy Tuplin had a goal and an assist to round out the Maroons’ scoring. Scott Bernard (2) and Lukas Dyment added helpers.
Jesse MacIntyre, assisted by Willie Gaudet and Garrett Lewis, netted the lone Alberton goal.
The Maroons led 1-0 after one period, and extended that margin to 3-0 at the end of 40 minutes.
Chase Dyment registered the goaltending win. Spencer Rennie was between the pipes for Alberton.
The Regals were whistled for six of the game’s 10 minor penalties.
