SHAWINIGAN, Que. – Carson MacKinnon contributed three points to the Rimouski Oceanic offensive attack on Monday afternoon.

The forward from Summerside scored two goals and added an assist in helping the Oceanic to an 8-1 road triumph over the Shawinigan Cataractes in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. MacKinnon was also selected the game’s second star.
MacKinnon improved his point total to nine, including three goals and six assists, in eight regular-season contests.
