ABRAM-VILLAGE – The Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings return to action in the Island Junior Hockey League on Tuesday. The Red Wings will host the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros in an important early-season game at the Evangeline Recreation Centre. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Red Wings go into the game in second place, two points up on the third-place Metros. Western’s record is 3-1-0 (won-lost-overtime losses), and Sherwood-Parkdale is 2-3-0.
The Red Wings have been off from game action over a week after handing the first-place Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers their only loss of the season in Abram-Village on Oct. 21. The final score of that game was 5-3.
One key for the Red Wings will be to keep the Metros’ high-powered offence in-check. Going into Sunday’s play, the Metros scored a league-leading 22 goals.
