McKenna, Spence find back of net for Wildcats

SUMMERSIDE – Two Prince Edward Islanders scored for the Moncton Wildcats in a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game on Thursday night.
Forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside had a goal and an assist while defenceman Jordan Spence of Cornwall contributed a single tally in the Wildcats’ 6-5 loss to the visiting Saint John Sea Dogs.
Rookie Sea Dogs defenceman Charlie DesRoches of Days Corner had a plus-1 rating in the game.
McKenna improved his point total to 64 – 26 goals and 37 assists – in 40 games. Spence, also in his rookie campaign in the QMJHL, has three goals and 30 assists for 33 points in 40 contests. DesRoches has registered seven goals, six assists and 13 points in 31 matches.
