BATHURST, N.B. – The Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Pride spread out the offence en route to remaining undefeated in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League.
Six different players contributed single goals, and 10 players recorded points in the Pride’s 6-4 victory over the Northern Moose on Friday night. Charlottetown is now 3-0 (won-lost), and will host provincial rival Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild in its home opener at the Bell Aliant Centre on the UPEI campus Friday at 7:30 p.m.

At the K.C. Irving Centre, Nigel Morris (1-1), Bradley Campbell, Jack Triantafillou, Seth Morris, Nick Reeves and Sam MacNeill scored for the Pride. Other assists went to Dylan Matthews (2), Keegan Mitchell, Declan MacEachern, Luke Garnhum and Chase Gaudette.
Simon Latour (2), William Schofield (1-1) and Anthony Parent countered for the Moose (1-5).
The Pride held period leads of 3-1 and 4-1. Charlottetown opened up a 6-1 advantage 8:09 into the third period, but three late goals by the Moose made the score close.
Winning goaltender Jonah Arbing stopped 26 of 30 shots. Christian Gaudet was tested 42 times in the Northern cage.
