CRAPAUD – There was no shortage of goals in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League over the weekend.

A total of 38 goals were scored in three games. Friday, the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch outlasted the North River Flames 8-6, and the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces outscored the Southside Lynx 10-7. In Saturday’s lone game, the Flames got by the Crapaud-based Lynx 4-3 in a shootout.

Flames 4 Lynx 3 (SO)
At the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud, Kyle Doucette scored the winning goal in the shootout. Connor Andrews, Patrick Young and Blake Gallant found the back of the net in regulation time for the Flames, who are 3-9-1 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Brandon Johnston (2-1) and Owen MacFadyen scored for the Lynx (3-6-2). Tyson Beckingham chipped in with three assists.
The Flames led 1-0 after the first period, and the teams entered the second intermission tied 3-3.
Overall, the Flames outshot the Lynx 51-32 through regulation and overtime, including 17-9 and 21-7 advantages in the first two periods. Ryan Clory earned the goaltending win, and Caelan Ferguson had a strong effort between the pipes for Southside.

Aces 10 Lynx 7
At the Tignish Credit Union Arena, Will Tuplin scored four goals while Brayden Arsenault collected four assists for the Aces (8-4-0). Dawson Sellick (2-1), Curklan Fraser (1-2), Oliver Smallman (1-1), Colton Chaisson (1-1) and Morgan Grigg rounded out Tignish’s scoring.
Johnston (2), Beckingham (1-2), Frank Watts (1-1), affiliated player Krystof Wigmore (1-1), Rhys Caseley and Nathan Paynter countered for the Lynx.
The Aces were in front 3-0 after the opening 20 minutes, and 5-4 at the end of two.
Winning goaltender was McGuire Gallant.

Crunch 8 Flames 6
At The Plex in Slemon Park, the Crunch jumped out to a 3-0 advantage after the opening frame, and took a 4-3 lead into the third period.
Monty Desreux (2-2), Brandon Hastings (2-2), Remi Arsenault (2), James Birt (1-2) and Colton Morris dented the twine for the Crunch (4-6-0). Brett Cheverie and Kolton Stright each added a pair of helpers.
Brandon Watts (1-2), Gallant (1-1), Tanner Hood (1-1), Tyson Gillis (1-1), Ethan MacFadyen (1-1) and Ben Doucette lit the lamp for the Flames. Andrews contributed two assists.
Izaac Ford earned the goaltending win.
