Garrett Murray scored the winning goal to give the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers a 5-4 shootout win over the Cap-Pelé Predators on Friday night.

The inter-locking game between the Island Junior Hockey League and New Brunswick Junior Hockey League was played in Cap-Pelé, N.B., on Friday night.
Blake Gallant (1-1), CJ McCardle (1-1), Riley Smith (1-1) and Kyle McGuigan scored regulation-time goals for the Vipers, who will take a 3-0-0 (won-lost-overtime losses) record into Sunday’s 2:15 p.m. game against arch-rival Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings (2-1-0) at the Evangeline Recreation Centre. Murray, Ryan McKenna and Parker Ronahan added assists.

Connor Hayes (1-2), Kyle Furze (1-1), Zach Kerwin and Yannick Jacob countered for the Predators.
The period scores were 2-1 in favour of the Predators, and 4-3 for the Vipers.
Winning goaltender was Cameron Visser.
