ALBERTON – Chase Gaudette registered four points on the strength of one goal and three assists in sparking the Western Regals to an 8-4 win over the Kings County Kings at the Jacques Cartier Arena on Saturday night.

The win improved the Regals’ record to 17-0-0 (won-lost-tied), and the second-place Kings dropped to 12-3-3.
Sam Hackett (2-1), Kalim DesRoches (1-2), James Doyle (1-2), Carter Cahill (1-1), Alex Hutchinson (1-1) and Ethan Oliver rounded out the Regals’ scoring. Chandler DesRoches added two helpers.
Owen MacNeil (2-1) and Jack King (2) answered for the Souris-based Kings.
Western led 2-1 after the opening period, and took a 5-3 advantage into the second intermission.
Cole Gallant picked up the goaltending win.
