McKenna moves back into top spot in QMJHL scoring race

After three-point night in Shawinigan on Thursday

SUMMERSIDE – Forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside moved back into sole possession of top spot in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League scoring race Thursday night.
McKenna recorded three points – one goal and two assists – in helping the Moncton Wildcats to a 7-1 road win over the Shawinigan Cataractes.
The 19-year-old son of Mark and Sara McKenna has 19 goals and 29 assists for 48 points, one ahead of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies’ Peter Abbandonato, who has 13 goals and 24 helpers for 47 points.
