ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. – Two players from Summerside recorded points in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Friday night.
Moncton Wildcats forward Jeremy McKenna had a goal and an assist in a 6-5 overtime loss to the host Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. McKenna now has 15 points – three goals and 12 assists – in nine regular-season games.
In Bathurst, N.B., Acadie-Bathurst Titan defenceman Noah Dobson assisted on his team’s lone goal by Evan MacKinnon in a 4-1 loss to the visiting Charlottetown Islanders.
Hunter Drew (1-1), Daniel Hardie, William Sirman and Liam Peyton scored for the Islanders.
Dobson has six points – three goals and three assists – in six regular-season contests.
