FREDERICTON – Connor McGregor and Riley MacDougall paced the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Pride on Saturday night.

 

McGregor scored a hat trick while MacDougall netted a pair of goals in the Pride’s 6-4 victory over the Fredericton Caps at Willie O’Ree Place in New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League.
Owen McNeil also scored for the Pride, who is 8-11-3 (won-lost-overtime losses). Ed McNeill, Luke Garnhum, Gage MacWilliams and Grant MacAdam earned assists.
Max Grant (2), Sam Mossman and Antoni Matte answered for the Caps (6-17-0).
The Caps led 2-1 after the opening period, but the Pride roared back to take a 4-2 advantage into the second intermission.
Winning goaltender Erik MacInnis stopped 27 of 31 shots.
