SYDNEY, N.S. – Rimouski Oceanic forward Carson MacKinnon extended his point streak in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to five games Thursday night.
MacKinnon earned an assist in the Oceanic’s 4-3 overtime loss to the host Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
MacKinnon has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 12 regular-season games this year.
Rimouski visits the Charlottetown Islanders at Eastlink Centre on Saturday at 7 p.m.
