CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Kings County Kings outgunned the Central Attack with four, third-period goals and notched an 8-5 win in P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League action Thursday at Cody Banks Arena.
Kings County had a 4-3 edge going into the third until Riley Jamieson, Jake MacLaren, Alexander Dixon (1-1) and Jacob MacPhee broke the game open.
Jamieson and MacLaren each scored in first and second periods to record hat tricks.
Cam White (3), Owen MacNeil (3), Gabe Hartlen (2) and Jack King (2) each chipped in multiple assists.
John MacKinnon (1-1), Noah Dow (1-1), Owen Matheson, Josh Lund and Isaac McCabe netted the Attack markers, while Emmett Lyons added three assists.
Ben Bruce earned the win over Keegan Duffy.
Central was 1-for-3 on the power play. Kings County went 0-for-1 on its only chance with the extra man.
