NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – Two Prince Edward Islanders in their rookie seasons in the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) earned points for their respective on Thursday night.
Kennedy Gallant of Charlottetown earned an assist for the Miramichi Timberwolves in a 5-4 road win over the Pictou County Crushers. Evan Gallant of Abram-Village collected a helper for the Crushers.
Gallant has one goal and two assists for three points in nine regular-season games. Gallant has five points – one goal and four assists – in 13 contests.
