CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Charlottetown Islanders are preparing for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) regular season.

They begin the season at home Friday when the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles come to town for a 7:30 p.m. contest at the Eastlink Centre.

The Isles play their first four games on home ice as the Memorial Cup-hosting Halifax Mooseheads are in Saturday, the Saint John Sea Dogs Wednesday, Sept. 26, and the defending Memorial Cup champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan Thursday, Sept. 27. The three games all begin at 7 p.m.
