CORNWALL, P.E.I. — The Charlottetown Islanders had their first on-ice session of training camp Friday night at the APM Centre.

The first portion of camp is essentially a rookie camp with the returnees joining about a week later. Camp continues Saturday with intrasquad games at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
