Rookie forward from Abram-Village has points in four of last five games
Evan Gallant of Abram-Village had a big night for the host Pictou County Crushers on Thursday.
The rookie forward, who played the three previous years with the Kensington Wild major midget program, contributed a goal and an assist in the Crusher’s 6-4 win over the Valley Wildcats in the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League).
Gallant, who has earned at least a point in four of the Crushers’ last five games, now has 20 points, including nine goals, in 30 regular-season games this season.
