BOUCHERVILLE, QUE – Summerside native Noah Dobson of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan has been named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s defenceman of the month for March on Monday afternoon.
Dobson has combined strong defensive and offensive play. He registered 12 points – four goals and eight assists – in eight games while posting an impressive plus-15 rating throughout the month of March. Dobson was equal or a plus in seven of the eight games.

The 17-year-old defenceman finished the regular season tied for second place in points for defenceman in the QMJHL. He had 69 points while he was third in goals (17) and fourth in assists (52).
Dobson also had the most productive game of his two-year QMJHL career during March, when he recorded one and three assists for four points while attempting 11 shots on net.
