SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Josh Currie’s goal 13:02 into the second overtime period extended the Bakersfield Condors’ season on Saturday night.

Currie lifted the Condors to a 2-1 win over the visiting San Diego Gulls, who now lead the best-of-seven American Hockey League series 3-2.
It was the third overtime game of the series between the Condors and Gulls. The teams played four overtime periods in the series opener before San Diego won 3-2 on May 3.
Currie is from Charlottetown and played junior hockey on P.E.I. with the Summerside Western Capitals of the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) and P.E.I. Rocket (now Charlottetown Islanders) of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
