SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals have moved into the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s top-20 rankings.

The Capitals, members of the 12-team MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League), were ranked No. 11 in the latest rankings released Monday.
The only other MHL team ranked is the Yarmouth Mariners, who fell from 11th to 17th.
The Capitals sit atop the Eastlink North Division standings at 12-3-0 (won-lost-overtime losses), one point behind the league-leading Mariners (12-3-1).
The Caps, winners of three straight and 11 of their last 12 games, have scored a league-high 76 goals in 15 regular-season games.
The Caps’ next game is Thursday in New Glasgow, N.S., against the Pictou County Crushers (2-9-2).
