CHARLOTTETOWN – It was an impressive weekend for the Central Attack in the P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League.

The Attack spotted the Eastern Express a 2-0 lead, before roaring back for a 9-2 win on Saturday afternoon. That victory followed up a 9-1 road triumph over the Prince County Warriors on Friday night.
The league-leading Warriors are 12-1-0 (won-lost-tied), and have outscored their opposition 94-12 in 13 regular-season games.

Attack 9 Express 2
At the Bell Aliant Centre in Charlottetown, Tyler Worth (2-3), Colby Huggan (2-1), Daimyan Boyle (1-2), Brett Arsenault (1-1), Chris Koughan (1-1), Jonah MacDonald (1-1) and Will Morrison contributed goals for the Warriors. Isaac Vos added three assists.
Caleb MacDonald netted both goals for the Express (5-6-0). Avery Brown had a pair of helpers.
The first period ended in a 2-2 tie, but the Attack led 6-2 after the second.
Jack Howatt notched the goaltending win.

Attack 9 Warriors 1
At the O’Leary Community Sports Centre, the Attack scored three goals in each period.
Worth (3), Cam Squires (2-2), Keegan Callaghan (1-1), Vos, MacDonald and Huggan accounted for the Attack’s scoring. Nathan Mossey (3), Koughan (2) and Arsenault (2) had multiple assists.
Clark Allain replied for the Warriors (4-7-0).
The period scores were 3-1 and 6-1.
Winning goaltender was Shannon MacDonald.
