CHARLOTTETOWN – The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces swept the player-of-the-week awards in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.
Brayden Handrahan took the offensive award while Lexin Gaudet was recognized as the top defensive performer.
Handrahan scored back-to-back game-winning goals against the North River Flames and the league-leading Sherwood-Parkdale Metros.
Handrahan is a first-year junior player, who plays both ends of the rink with determination, and is making his presence known in the league.
Gaudet is another first-year player who provided the Aces with sound defensive play. He is solid on the blue-line, and is a big part of the team’s penalty kill and power play.
Gaudet also chipped in with three assists in two games.
