Harris had two touchdown passes and the scoring run in the final 3 ½ minutes of the first half.

Harris threw for 39 yards to Eli Pancol as Duke extended its lead. Harris' 6-yard run pushed the edge to 28-10 with 34 seconds to go in the half.

Harris ended up 30-for-42 for 345 yards through the air to go with 83 rushing yards. Jalon Calhoun made eight catches for 105 yards.

Duke's first touchdown was a Harris pass was for 38 yards to Calhoun, who like Pancol is a true freshman. Calhoun later caught a 24-yard touchdown pass, while Durant added a 1-yard touchdown run.

AJ Reed's 50-yard field goal stretched the lead to 31-10 in the third quarter.

Duke, which lost a week earlier to No. 2 Alabama, had four touchdown drives of 69 or more yards on the way to 574 yards of total offense in its second game of the season.

N.C. A&T's Noel Ruiz, whose 52-yarder on the last play beat Elon a week earlier, opened the scoring with a 40-yard field goal. He later hit from 36 yards.

The Aggies (1-1) led 10-7 after Jeremiah Martin's 66-yard run.

Aggies quarterback Kylil Carter was 8-for-22 for 111 yards. Martin gained 82 yards on 10 carries.

Duke won its eighth consecutive home opener.

It was the first meeting between the in-state schools separated by about 55 miles. N.C. A&T is nationally ranked as high as No. 14 in the Football Championship Division.
