The Spartans recently defeated the Cornwall Timberwolves 33-6 in the league’s championship game at Eric Johnston Field to claim their second provincial title in as many years. The Spartans also haven’t lost a game in the two years the league has existed.
Second-year players Connor Keough, Armaan Singh and Max Chisholm led the Spartans. These three players began playing flag football at a young age, and even have two years of atom tackle under their belts.
“Even at such a young age, there is no substitute for the experience and leadership shown from these players in the big games,” read a Football P.E.I. media release.
