ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Summerside’s Noah Dobson had a goal and an assist Saturday as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies took a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven Quebec Major Junior Hockey League semifinal with the Rimouski Oceanic.
Carson MacKinnon, also a Summerside native, had a goal for the Oceanic in the 4-3 loss in Rouyn-Noranda, Que.
The Huskies led 2-0 before Rimouski scored three straight to take a 3-2 lead. Felix Bibeau tied it late in the second and scored the winner with 40 seconds left in regulation.
Dobson had an assist in Friday’s 5-1 victory in the opening game of the series.
Game 3 goes Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Atlantic in Rimouski, Que.
