Damian Lillard recorded 36 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Portland Trail Blazers notched a 112-106 victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.

Gary Trent Jr. added 18 points and CJ McCollum had 16 as Portland recovered from a 16-point, second-quarter deficit to win for the fifth time in the past six games.

Enes Kanter scored 12 points, matched his season best of 15 rebounds and had a season-high five blocked shots in his first game as the starting center after Jusuf Nurkic was lost indefinitely with a fractured right wrist. Derrick Jones Jr. added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

Trae Young registered 26 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds and Clint Capela added 25 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Hawks. De'Andre Hunter scored 15 points and Kevin Huerter had 13 as Atlanta lost for the sixth time in the past seven games.

Young was just 7 of 23 shooting one night after hitting just 1 of 11 shots and scoring a season-low four points in a loss to the Utah Jazz.

Overall, the Hawks made 43.7 percent of their shots and were a woeful 6 of 30 from behind the arc.

Portland shot just 38.8 percent from the field and made 15 of 44 from 3-point range.

Atlanta trailed 98-96 after Young made two free throws with 5:46 remaining.

Portland responded by scoring eight of the next 10 points to open up an eight-point lead.

Hunter and Huerter each knocked down two free throws as the Hawks moved within 106-102 with 2:49 left. Capela's tip-in pulled Atlanta within two with 1:47 left before Lillard made two free throws 12 seconds later for his first points of the final stanza.

Young's basket with 47.7 seconds left allowed the Hawks to get within 108-106.

Young was later called for an offensive foul as Lillard drew the charge with 15.5 seconds to play. Lillard made four free throws in the final 13.6 seconds left to clinch Portland's win.

Capela scored 19 points and Young added 17 as the Hawks led 66-59 at the break. Lillard had 19 for Portland.

Young's 3-pointer gave the Hawks a 52-36 lead with 7:19 left in the half before the Trail Blazers narrowed their deficit.

Lillard scored 11 points in the third quarter, including a shot that tied the score at 86 with 5.3 seconds left in the stanza.
