SUMMERSIDE – Kayla Harris is very active in the athletic program at Three Oaks Senior High School (TOSH).

If the Grade 12 student is not playing a sport, she is involved as a team official or organizer. As a result of this commitment and her hard work on the field hockey pitch, Kayla has been recognized as the Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month at the Summerside-based school.
The 18-year-old daughter of Neil and Mandy Harris of Summerside played centre/forward with the Axewomen in the P.E.I. School Athletic Association Senior Girls Field Hockey League in the fall, and she will wear TOSH’s green and gold colours in senior badminton later this season.
“She was a leader on and off the field,” commented Three Oaks field hockey coach Ashley Praught. “Kayla had a strong offensive presence, tying as the team’s leading scorer.”
