TIGNISH, P.E.I. — Brayden Handrahan and Brayden Arsenault each had three-point nights to lead the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 9-2 victory over the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs.
Handrahan had two goals and an assist while Arsenault set up three goals during the Razzy’s Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League contest at the Credit Union Arena in Tignish.
Will Tuplin also scored twice in the win while Tristan Cahill, James Doyle, Thomas Shea and Tyson Beckingham each had a goal and an assist. Lexin Gaudet also scored while Devon Sherren, Dawson Sellick and Keaton Horne all contributed an assist.
Ethan Yorston and Dawson McCarthy scored for the IceDogs with assists going to Donovan Wyand, Daniel Martell and Caleb Creed.
Colin Gaudette stopped 22 shots for the win while Caleb Creed had 31 saves in the loss.
Tignish held 4-1 and 7-1 period leads. Neither team scored on the power play as Georgetown had six chances and Tignish two.
The Aces (10-1-1) lead the five-team league while the IceDogs (2-7-0) are tied with the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch for fourth.
