O'LEARY, P.E.I. — Brandie (The Rifle) Warren allowed just two hits in leading the Bedeque Blue Jackets to an 8-1 victory over the host Western Mariners on Friday night and sole possession of first place in the P.E.I. Mosquito AA Baseball League.

Warren just missed tossing a complete game, striking out 14 and throwing 75 pitches before Alex Gaudet came on in relief to record a game-clinching strikeout on three pitches.
Offensively, Gaudet (2-3), Karson Webster (1-2), Caden Gallant (1-2) and Josh Gaudet (1-3) led the way for the Blue Jackets.
Mason Gaudet and Thatcher MacKay turned in a couple of fantastic defensive plays from second base for Bedeque.
Rowan Colwill started on the hill for the Mariners and combined with Evan Rennie to strike out 13.
Colwill and Skylar DesRoches had Western’s hits.
The game was played at Ellis Field.
