SUMMERSIDE – The visiting Stratford A’s swept a P.E.I. Mosquito AA Baseball League doubleheader from the Summerside Chevys at Gordie Arsenault Field on Thursday.
Stratford won the opening game 11-1, and then took Game 2 by a 9-5 count.

Griffin Robbins earned the pitching win over Ethan Cooper-Marotta.
Sandy MacDonald (1-2), Aidan Murnaghan (1-2) and Seth Cochrane, who drew two walks, were the top batters for Stratford. Karli Snow, Ben Connolly and Landon Laughlin all went 1-for-2 to lead Summerside.

Declan MacLaughlin’s 2-for-2 batting summary paced Stratford, which received 1-for-2 batting performances from Bannon Robbins and Lincoln Kennedy.
Holden Rush (2-2), Max DesRoche (2-2) and Connolly (1-1, walk) were tops at the dish for Summerside.
MacDonald earned the pitching win, and Snow was the pitcher of record for Summerside.
