The Sherwood Knights peewee AA team won the recent Baseball P.E.I. peewee AA elimination tournament after a 16-11 victory over the Western Mariners in the championship final in Tignish.
The Knights went 2-1 in the round robin and came from behind to beat the Bedeque Blue Jackets 10-8 in the semifinal.
Sherwood now represent P.E.I. at the Baseball Atlantic peewee AA championship Sept. 14-16 in Fredericton, N.B.
